Supporting Exonerees
Who are Exonerees?
Exonerees are people who were wrongfully imprisoned. Often times, they seek academic help with writing, math, and technology literacy for job opportunities and to gain their high school diploma. Next Step Tutors has partnered with Exonerated Nation and The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice to help exonerees reach their academic and life goals after being released from wrongful imprisonment.

My name is Roshan Dhand
I am currently a senior at Horace Greeley High school. In the past, I tutored for the middle school and programs with the Bake Back America Foundation during the pandemic. Following my passion to teach students, I co-founded and am president of Next Step Tutors. I also love science research and write for Science Greeley and the local STROLL Magazine in Chappaqua. I hope that my abilities in tutoring can help many more students succeed!

My name is Sean Patrick-Sasaki
I am currently a senior at Horace Greeley High School. I am a captain of the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams, and my passions lie in the arts and humanities. I have experience peer-tutoring, and last summer I taught screenwriting and creative writing to over 400 people internationally through my program Next Level Writing Studio. I love to teach, and I am here to help anyone find their academic passion and unlock their full potential as a student and member of their community!
